Q: What is this I don't even?
A: This is the Text Remix Project.
Q: What is a 'target'?
A: A target is the list of words you'll be using. To set it, click Set Target on The Tool page, chose if you'll be using raw text or a word list, and pick if you'd like it split by words or letters. Then all you need to do is paste the text or the list into the text area and click Done.
Q: How should do lists look like?
A: Each word should be followed by its count, separated by a space [word] [number], and individual words should be separated with a new line.

Q: What do the numbers mean?
A: Once you've set a target you'll have a list of words (or letters) and the remaining number of times they can be used. If the number is negative you've overused the specific word that many times.
Let's say our target is: "tomatoes are not really tomatoes", and we've entered the text "potatoes are really not tomatoes". In this case the numbers shown will be: "tomatoes (1); potatoes (-1);". We still need to use the word tomato, and potato wasn't a target word.
Q: And the accuracy?
A: The accuracy shows your compliance with the target. If you've used all the target words and only the target words you'll have 100%, anything more or less and your score will go down. Generally speaking an accuracy of over 90-95% means you did a pretty good job.
Q: I randomly decided to remix some text.
A: Let us know, we'll tell the world.
